They are such a dynamic tool for improving physical functionality that they just can't be excluded from any program with increased athleticism, fat loss or muscle increases/maintenance in mind. They've proven themselves to me first hand as well as with clients that they just simply work.

Raw food was one of those things I used to put in a box, specifically the no-muscle-off-your-rocker-weirdo type of box. I was astounded when I found I could eat a little less and have more net nutrition in my diet by making it predominantly raw and strategically including herbs and medicinal mushrooms.

Why not? Ok for real... I trained like a body builder for 9 years and got very strong and looked great. Bottom line, I like to think I'm a common sense kind of guy, I got tired of having a whole lot of muscle only usable under a bar or with a dumbbell in hand.

With functional based training I can take cardio, strength, power, endurance and yes, even muscle growth and put it into real life context where it all makes good sense..
